Iran: Khamenei concede grazia a 2.800 detenuti

(ANSA) – TEHERAN, 31 LUG – La Guida suprema dell’Iran, Ali Khamenei, ha firmato un provvedimento di grazia o di riduzione di pena per 2.825 detenuti, in occasione delle due festività islamiche di Eid al-Adha, o Festa del Sacrificio, e di Eid al-Ghadir, una celebrazione sciita, in calendario rispettivamente il 21 luglio e giovedì scorso.
In giugno, Khamenei ha concesso un provvedimento di clemenza per altri 5.000 detenuti in occasione delle celebrazioni della nascita dell’Imam Reza, una delle figure più riverite dell’Islam sciita.
